Due to the increasing number of late cancelations and no shows within the industry, we do require for appointments with new clients and all surgeries. The deposit is 50% of the appointment cost or surgery estimate. This deposit is refundable for appointments as long as you cancel before 24 hours before your appointment, and for surgery this deposit is refundable as long as you cancel before 48 hours before your surgery. We will make exceptions case by case for emergencies.
In order to best serve you and your pets, we ask for at least 24 hour's notice if you are going to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We understand that emergencies can occur that prevent this from happening. A late cancel or no show appointment hurts at least three people: you, your vet staff, and another animal who could have potentially utilized your time slot. When an appointment is canceled without adequate notice, we are unable to fill this time slot by offering it to another current client, a client on the waitlist, or a client with an emergency. Having three or more late cancellations or no shows will result in having to prepay for any future appointments. If there is a late cancellation or no show once prepayment is taken, that prepayment will be forfeited and another prepayment would have to be taken to schedule another appointment.
We do require all patients have at least our preoperative bloodwork panel and exam completed prior to any surgery. If any further diagnostics need to be performed prior to surgery, that will be discussed at your pet's preoperative exam appointment.
We do ask that you send your pet's previous medical history prior to your appointment. This will enable the staff to review the records ahead of time and begin the exam right away. If you have your pet's previous medical history, you can email them to us at communityvetcareinc@gmail.com. If you do not have your pet's previous medical history, please let us know where your pet has been seen previously so we can reach out and get the records prior to your appointment.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept any medication returns once the medication has left the building. Please confirm your purchase before leaving.
